Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Kochi and Drive to Munnar
After arrival in Kochi, you will be driven to Munnar. Enroute, you can visit the Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Spice Garden, reaching the town by afternoon. Check-in to your hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, go for a casual walk to soak in the peaceful environment. Stay overnight at the hotel.Day 2
Munnar Sightseeing
After a delectable breakfast, move for a sightseeing tour of Munnar covering the Tata Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Old Munnar Town and the town market. By evening, return to the hotel for a comfortable night stay. Note: Eravikulam National Park remains closed from January to March due to the calving season of Nilgiri Tahr while the Tata Tea Museum remains closed on Mondays.Day 3
Transfer to Thekkady
After breakfast and check-out formalities, proceed towards Thekkady undertaking a 3.5 hours drive. Experiencing the spell binding attractions enroute and reach Thekkady by noon. Here, you can opt for a Periyar Boat Ride (entrance fee not included), watch Kathakali - the famous dance form of Kerala, Kalaripayattu - the native martial art (on your own). You can also indulge in some shopping as Thekkady is very famous for its spices. Stay overnight at the hotel.Day 4
Transfer to Alleppey
After breakfast and check-out formalities, proceed for a 3.5 hours ride to Alleppey. Surrounded by lush green waters, Alleppey is one of the prime destinations for worldwide tourists with luxurious stay options in well decorated houseboats. Overnight accommodation will be in Hotel/Houseboat.Day 5
Return to Kochi
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and start the 1.5 hour drive back to the Kochi airport/Railway Station.Breakfast
