Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival at Kochi

On arrival at Kochi, check-in to the hotel. You may choose to relax or explore the city on your own. The main attractions in the city are Fort Kochi, Bolgatty Palace and the backwaters. In the evening, you can go out, explore the local markets and indulge in the local delicacies (on your own). By night, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2

Transfer to Munnar

After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel by 09:00 AM and proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. By afternoon, start the 3.5 hour journey to Munnar, which used to be the summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers during colonial times. On the way, stop at a restaurant for lunch (on your own). Enroute, you can visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Spice garden. On arrival at Munnar, check-into the hotel and relax a bit. In the evening, you can explore the local market (on your own). Return to the hotel for a pleasant overnight stay. Note: The Dutch Palace is closed on Friday and National Holidays and the Jewish Synagogue is closed on Friday, Saturday and Jewish Holidays.

Day 3

Munnar SIghtseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar covering the Tata Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Old Munnar Town and the town market. By evening, return to the hotel and spend the night in comfort. Note: Eravikulam National Park remains closed from January to March due to the calving season of Nilgiri Tahr. Tata Tea Museum remains closed on Mondays.

Day 4

Transfer to Alleppey

After breakfast and check-out formalities, proceed for a 4.5 hour journey towards Alleppey. With a network of tranquil canals and lagoons, Alleppey is one of the prime destination for tourists from all over the world, offering luxurious stays in well decorated houseboats. You can enjoy the serenity of the place on a casual walk. Overnight accommodation will be at the hotel. Note: You may opt to stay in Houseboat at an additional cost.

Day 5

Return to Kochi

After breakfast, check-out from hotel for a 1.5 hour drive back to the Kochi airport/Railway Station.
