Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Bengaluru and Transfer to Mysore
Arrive at Bengaluru airport or railway station and travel to Mysore. Also known as the “City of Palaces”, Mysore is dotted with royal heritage buildings all across. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure. (Depending on your time of arrival, sightseeing will be organised). Stay overnight in the hotel.Day 2
Transfer to Ooty and Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a four-hour drive to Ooty, which is also known as the “Queen of Hill Stations”. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Begin your tour with a visit to Pykara Lake. Abundant with beauty, the lake is no less than a lottery for nature lovers and photographers. Next, visit the Doddabetta Peak to enjoy a panoramic view of Ooty. After this, head to Rose Garden, which is another major attraction of the city. Exhibiting over 20,000 varieties of roses, it has one of the largest collection of roses in the country. Next, visit the Wax World Museum that houses the wax statues of Indian freedom fighters and political leaders. End your day at the Ooty Lake where you can enjoy activities like boating, horse riding, cycling and more. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight accommodation.Day 3
Coonoor Excursion
After breakfast, proceed to Coonoor, which is another famous hill station of South India. Riding in a toy train, enjoy the scenic landscapes on your way. On arrival, begin your sightseeing tour at the Sim’s Park. Displaying some of the most exotic plant species, Sim’s Park is an ideal place to spend a peaceful time. After the park visit, head to the Lamb’s Rock, which was named after the then collector of Coonoor, Captain Lamb. Offering a panoramic view of Coonoor, it is a major tourist spot of the town. By the end of your day, visit the Dolphin’s Nose, which gives you a picturesque view of the Nilgiri Hills. The drive up to the site takes you through the lush tea estates. Post the sightseeing tour, return to Ooty for an overnight stay.Day 4
Transfer to Kodaikanal
After breakfast at the hotel, take a 6.5-hour drive to Kodaikanal, which owing to its beauty is also called “Princess of Hill Stations”. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Make yourself comfortable in the overnight accommodation of the hotel.Day 5
Kodaikanal Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing. Begin your day at Kurinji Andavar Temple, which is famous for the Kurinji flower that blossoms once in every 12 years. Next, proceed to the Coakers Walk that offers a wonderful view of the lush green valley ahead. Post this, head to the Pillar Rocks to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Kodaikanal. Next, visit the Pine Forest, which is one of the most treasured locations of Kodaikanal. A paradise for photography lovers, this forest is the perfect place to spend some peaceful moments in the lapse of nature. After this, visit the Guna Caves for a thrilling experience. Next, proceed to the Bryant Park, which boasts of more than740 varieties of roses and 325 types of trees and shrubs. End your day at the Kodaikanal Lake, which is blessed with an abundance of nature. Transfer to Coimbatore and Departure
