Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Kochi
On arrival at Kochi, check-in to your hotel. You may choose to relax or explore the city on your own. The main attractions in the city are Fort Kochi, Bolgatty Palace and the backwaters. In the evening, you can go out, explore local markets and indulge in the local food there (on your own). By night, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.Day 2
Transfer to Munnar
After an early breakfast, check-out of the hotel by 09:00 AM and proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. By afternoon, head for a 3.5 hour journey to Munnar, which used to be the summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. On the way, stop at a restaurant for lunch (on your own). Enroute you can visit Cheeyappara waterfalls and Spice garden. On arrival at Munnar, check-into the hotel and relax a bit. In the evening, you can explore the local market (on your own). Return to the hotel for a pleasant overnight stay. Note: The Dutch Palace is closed on Friday and National Holidays and the Jewish Synagogue is closed on Friday, Saturday and Jewish Holidays.Day 3
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar covering the Tata Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Old Munnar Town and the town market. By evening, return to the hotel and sleep in comfort. Note: Eravikulam National Park remains closed from January to March due to the calving season of Nilgiri Tahr. Tata Tea Museum remains closed on Mondays.Day 4
Return to Kochi
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and take a 3.5 hour drive back to the Kochi airport/Railway Station.Breakfast
